This time of year Red, White & Blue is the name of the game, which is why this fun Red, White & Blue Fudge is a great treat to bring to your holiday gatherings. Just a few simple ingredients & you can wow your crowd.
I so love 4th of July. From Memorial Day through the 4th of July is my FAVORITE time because I get to focus on the Red, White & Blue! I didn’t get a chance to decorate or really celebrate last year.
We were packing to move into our new home all last June so I have been in patriotic withdraw since then. So I was super excited to be able to participate in this year’s Ultimate Red, White & Blue Blog Hop Round Up!

Since simple, no-bake treats are the focus all summer – this easy white chocolate fudge is the perfect treat for celebrating. Plus you can have chocolate at your celebration without it melting 🙂 Yay!
I love how easy this recipe is – literal 5 minutes or less to prepare. Pop it in the fridge & let it sit while you prepare your other party food & then it’s ready to serve.
Here are some commonly asked questions
Can I use a different type of chocolate?
Yes, absolutely, that will work just fine. I have made this with semi-sweet and milk chocolate. When working with dark chocolate you might need to increase the sweetened condensed milk as it has a lower fat content and will tend to be a bit dryer.
Can I use a regular M&M’s?
You bet. That is what I love about this recipe. I can make it for any occasion, using any color combination of M&M’s
Can this fudge be frozen?
Yes, I do it often. Just make sure to wrap tightly in plastic wrap, then place in a zip-top bag. Mark with the date and freeze for up to 6 months.

How many can this serve?
I usually cut this into about 16 squares. But really it will depend on how you cut the final recipe. I like to make 3 cuts in each direction – resulting in 4 rows both ways.
Can this recipe be doubled?
You can, and we do it often. Just spread it out in a 9×13 pan instead of the 8×8.
HOW DO YOU MAKE Red, White & Blue Fudge?
- Line an 8×8 pan (glass or metal) with parchment & spritz lightly with cooking spray- set aside.
- Place chocolate chips & sweetened condensed milk in a medium glass bowl.
- Microwave on 50% power in 30-second intervals – stirring in between until chocolate is completely melted & mixture is smooth. (should take about 60-90 seconds)
- Stir in vanilla extract & ½ of the M&M”s.
- Transfer to the prepared baking dish, sprinkle with remaining M&M’s.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours before cutting.
What is the best way to store leftover fudge?
If you keep your house on the cooler side, you can just put some foil over the top of the pan and keep it on the counter or in the pantry. But if your house is warmer, maybe you don’t have air conditioning, then you will want to cover or place it in an airtight container and refrigerate. Just set it out on the counter for about 10 minutes before serving again.
