Looking for a few moments to yourself? With the rush of life it can be hard to carve out just 10 minutes of peace each day. But today I’m sharing with you one of my favorite ways to start my day with just 10 minutes before the rest of the house awakens. I make this Iced Coffee Protein Shake, made with delicious mocha iced coffee, frozen bananas & protein powder. A great way to start the day.
Moments to myself won’t happen unless I make them happen, which is why I love the simplicity of this shake. I can pack in breakfast along with my morning pick-me-up. It whips together in the blender in about 30 seconds, which leave me about 9.5 minutes to have some quiet all to myself. It’s not long after that the rest of the family starts emerging from their rooms.
In the summer months when the sun is up around 4:30 – I grab my shake in my travel mug & head out to the porch to enjoy the early morning. I love the warmth of the early morning sun for a few minutes to help get me ready for my day before I head up to the studio.

Sounds great. Don’t know what the calorie count or sugar content is on the International Delight product, but if that is an issue, one could just use regular coffee (put the leftover from the day before in the frig or freeze cubes), sugar free creamer and stevia.
