If you have been visiting here for a while then you know that I have been on quite a blueberry kick. They are so good & good for you. So when the hubs looked at me the other day & said “hey, want to make a Blueberry Daiquiri” I knew I had to share it with you. Blueberry recipes are really hot right now so why not change from the traditional strawberry daiquiri?! This turned out great!
Not all daiquiri recipes are blended – however, being that I had not made a blended one in a really long time & I was itching to make a blended bevi of some type – blended is what we have here today.
Make these for your 4th of July party – maybe garnish with a strawberry to make it super patriotic.
Blueberry Daiquiri
Ingredients
- **makes a pitcher full
- 1-1/2 cups blueberries
- 8 cups sweet & sour
- 4 ounces rum
- 1 banana
- 4 cups ice
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in blender & blend on high until all ice is crushed & no large pieces remain.
- Serve immediately
- Garnish with additional blueberries or strawberries
