Since it’s warmer out & I’m wanting to bake less- we have been working on creating some new & refreshing beverages for the summer. We bought a cocktail shaker/bartender kit & some things to start getting creative with drinks.
I will probably be putting the baked goods on hold as much as possible & focusing on more refreshing goodies to share with you here. I mean- who really wants to be in a hot kitchen when they could be out enjoying the beauty of summer right??!! For now, let’s enjoy this Red White & Blue Daiquiri!

Some in our family prefer the adult versions of these while others like the mocktail recipe version. So I am including both here for you today so that you can make these however you prefer. These would be great at your next summer gathering.
A twist on a traditional strawberry daiquiri- plus the virgin cocktail recipe too so everyone can enjoy this pretty little drink.
Here are some commonly asked questions
Can I use frozen berries?
Yes, absolutely, that will work just fine. If you don’t have fresh berries on hand, frozen will work – just not as pretty.
Can I use a sugar substitute?
I have not personally tried it, so I can’t say how that would turn out. But if you would like to try it, I suggest a product that offers a 1:1 swap. Please let me know how it turns out.
Can this daiquiri be frozen?
Sure. If you would like to make this a blended drink instead, just toss all the ingredients in the blender and crush until the mixture is slushy.

Can this recipe be doubled?
You can, and we do it often. I usually try not to do more than the doubled amount in the shaker just to give it enough space to really shake. But this is so easy that you can let your guests make it themselves instead of having to man the bar.

- Add all of the ingredients to the cocktail shaker & give it a good shake for 30-45 seconds.
